Interaction of soul and body as a main issue of philosophical anthropology

The article analyzes the basic concepts and angles of considering the interaction of body and soul as the main problem of philosophical anthropology. The author notes that the soul and the body indicate the traditionally different substantial human qualities, their configuration formed in the course of an individual's participation in the current socio-cultural practices. Depending on the interpretation both ambivalent and integral understandings of man and his nature are observed. This involves the consideration of body and soul as the substantial qualities of the individual combined by the forms of activity, the energy-information interaction and the language practices.
