The interaction of cultures of host country and foreign English-speaking students in teaching in Bulgarian language (the experience of medical university of Plovdiv)

The article presents a comparative analysis of two years of work at the Medical University of Plovdiv, Departament of Language and Specialized training, Section of Bulgarian language. The article discusses the work with computer presentation an a kind of information and communication technology in teaching Bulgarian to English-speaking students during the first and second year. The article reveals effectiveness of progressive complexity of the subject in competent approach to learning a foreign language. Such approach improves linguistic, cultural and especially comunikative competences of medical students. The focus of the article is interaction between cultures of the host country (Bulgaria) and foreign English-speaking students.
