Interaction of state authorities and the media

The article substantiates the importance of mass media in government decision-making. According to the results of the study, it was revealed that the current stage is characterized by the presence of the problem of interaction of public authorities with the mass media. The advantages of using mass media for the formation of public opinion, the development of society and the state are determined. It is concluded that it is necessary to use independent mass media along with state-owned ones. It is proposed to create an integrated system of interaction between public authorities and mass media at the federal and regional levels.
