Interaction of the pragmatic background knowledge with the components of current discourse

The paper presented the outcomes of studies in interference of cognitive semantic patterns within the frame of current discourse. In the course of studies the author has determined a part taken by the communicative and linguistic background knowledge and general background knowledge while operational processing of speech works. According to the study’ outcomes the author has noted that the pragmatics of an artistic text means its poetics, that implies that any attempt to describe the typical cases of pragmatists of relevance in the current discourse of statements taken from a fiction’ text means nothing but an attempt to describe its poetic features, being associated with a variety of author''s poetics that may extend the description over too wide limits.
