The interaction of Saint-Petersburg with the regions of the arctic zone: experience and prospects

The article analyzes the experience of interaction between St. Petersburg and the regions of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, and defines the city's role in the development and study of Arctic territories. The key factors in the formation of the city as an interregional communication center on issues related to the integrated development and sustainable development of the Russian Arctic territories have been identified, as well as factors determining the interests of St. Petersburg in this area. The most promising areas for the development of interaction between St. Petersburg and the Arctic macroregion of Russia are indicated, contributing to effective interregional cooperation. The key areas of cooperation between St. Petersburg and the regions that are part of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation are highlighted.
