This article discusses the socio-psychological and socio-pedagogical factors of deviant behavior of cadets of educational organizations of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia. The points of view of different researchers on the causes of deviant behavior in law enforcement are indicated. The study identified the main motivations for young people to study in educational organizations of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia. The article highlighted the role of education in the process of socialization and the importance of family in the process of formation of spiritual and moral ideas of the cadet.
