The article considers one of the problems of creative imagination development - the issue of correlation of thinking and imagination in cognitive activity of primary schoolchildren. The author analyses methods of thinking and creative imagination and defines the operations of creative imagination of primary schoolchildren in the process of studying basic geometry.
