The study examines the results of an empirical study of the relationship between laziness and conflict of self-regulation among adolescents. The internal conflict of self-regulation is seen as the experience of adolescents who are unable to meet the requirements of activity and situation due to lack of interest, motivation, awareness of the importance and necessity of activity and passivity. Different levels of overcoming laziness among adolescents (from individual difficulties to total inability to cope with it) are revealed. It is confirmed that the majority of adolescents have a high level of typical for this age activity as a potential coping mechanism to overcome laziness. It is proved that the activity of adolescents changes depending on the formation of structural components of self-regulation. Adolescents higher rate the functional characteristics of self-regulation and their absence lower, and girls have more self-assessment errors than boys. The assumption that laziness is a manifestation of an internal conflict of self-regulation is confirmed by the correlation of total inability and low ability to overcome laziness with the underdevelopment of all components of self-regulation.
