Correlation between life meaning orientation and professional activity type of individual

The correlation between life meaning orientation of an individual and professional activity type has been investigated. The problem which consists in the contradiction between existing basic meanings of personality (life purposes, degree of meaningfulness and awareness of life purposes) and the features of the process of their implementation in professional activities has been reviewed. The comparative characteristic of individual’s life meaning orientation in different professional groups has been given.
