In this paper, we assess the possibility of using modern concepts and management methods (in particular post-Fordist ones) in interrelation with each other in order to increase the efficiency of the work of enterprises. The prerequisites for a scientific interest in this topic should be to increase the growing aggravation of competition, namely, to improve the quality of intellectual resources. In such conditions, the key parameters of the leading companies are the high speed and quality of the enterprise's response as an economic system to various external and internal impacts. Based on the analysis of the most popular concepts and management methods, the main parameters for their comparison were identified, including a pronounced focus on a certain target benchmark. This examines the specifics of using a particular approach to management and assesses the potentially necessary conditions for the creation in the future of integrated management systems within the framework of economic systems aimed at using the current trends identified for this study for prospective development. The conducted research provides basic guidelines for the search for ways to increase the competitiveness of enterprises and, as a result, increase the final financial results of the conducted activities.
