Relation of subjective age and self-esteem of the elderly people

In this article the problem of the relation of the individual to his/her own chronological age is studied. The category «subjective age» has been worked out on the basis of native and foreign empirical inquiries. The results of the author` own empirical inquire are presented. It is proved that significant correlations between indications of subjective age and self-relation and self-esteem exist within the boundaries of the sample of the elderly people in the native population.
