Background. Significant heterogeneity in the clinical manifestations of mood disorders (MDs) complicates the diagnosis and selection of therapy in some cases. Currently, the search for biological markers of clinical manifestations is a promising area of research. One of the potential markers are platelet-derived growth factors - PDGF-AA and PDGF-BB.
