«...A look penetrates the thick curtain of time...» (to the 260th anniversary since A. N. Radishev birthday)

In the article, confined to the jubilation of A. N. Radischev, the issues connected with fate, content direction, stylistic arrangement and role in the history of the Russian literature and literary language of the main writer’s work -Travel from Moscow to St. Petersburg are revealed. The main techniques of creating new linguistic means in the interest of meeting the needs for the «social language» - the language of science, education and enlightenment in Russia at the end of the XVIII century are analyzed. The place of folk lore genre traditions in narrative compositions and degree of their participation in revealing content-artistic author’s strategy is mentioned. The text features, transferring it to a principally new type of a discourse are brought to light.
