YouTube as a training resource (foreign language, non-language university)

The conditionality of the use of YouTube video hosting content in the educational process of higher education is shown. YouTube is considered to be a learning environment that is comfortable for young people. The prospects of using the video materials of the portal in the process of teaching a foreign language in classroom and extracurricular work are analyzed. The selection criteria for the material are formulated. The advantages and disadvantages of using YouTube content in class are highlighted. The elements of the methodology for working with the training video are presented.
