Linguistic borrowing and its causes, based on the example of the English language

The development of human society is the development of all its constituent cultures, and, consequently, of all languages. In this paper, from a linguistic point of view, using the example of the English language, the main causes of linguistic borrowing are considered, as well as the concept of the term itself. The topic of borrowing is devoted to the works of many researchers. Its relevance has not been lost over time, but, on the contrary, is increasing, as the dynamics of the process of borrowing is growing.
