"Legitimate interest" as a scientific problem of criminal justice: a question of terminology

The presented article draws attention to the lack of unity of terminology in disclosing the category of “legitimate interest” in law, the reason for such a situation is named. The absence of a subjective component in the definition of a category is noted as a disadvantage. The perspective directions of the scientific search for the solution of the problem were determined: from the set of interests arising in legal relations, learn to identify and protect legitimate interests.
