West-east in the fate of the modern North Caucasian emigrants in Europe

The aim of this article is to study the modern North Caucasian emigration from Russia to Europe. They try to adapt to the new conditions. Now there are contacts between Turkey and the North Caucasian relations from Russia and from Turkey, which settled there during the XIX century and 1920s and 1930s. These contacts play the important role in this adaption. This article was prepared on the basis of archival and field ethnographic materials collected in France. The author showed the nature of the contacts between them and their causes, the special adaptation of the Turkish-North Caucasian diaspora in Europe. In the 1920s North Caucasians partially moved to Europe, partially - remained in Turkey. The author explores the reasonsof this phenomenon. The article describes the North Caucasian organizations of Turkey which there were the aim - to fight for the independence of the Caucasus (Muslim Committee, the Turkic Order «Gray Wolf»). In the 1970s there were emigration (including North Caucasians) from Turkey to Europe. In the modern adaptation of the Russian North Caucasians in Europe, the important role is played by the Turkish North Caucasians. Now they are living in Europe. They have their own clubs, associations, However Russian North Caucasians take part in them only partially.
