Charging infrastructure of electric transport: recommendations for the development of a network of charging stations in settlements (using the example of the city of Vladimir)

Free access

This article provides a market overview of charging equipment used to transmit electrical energy (EE) to the traction batteries of electric wheeled vehicles (EVs). All electric charging stations (ECS) under study are commercially available in Russia. It has been established that the range of Mode-4 charging terminals (CTs) is significantly wider than that of Mode-3. An a priori ranking method is proposed for selecting specific CT models for use at electric vehicle group charging facilities. An expert survey and subsequent data processing yielded criteria for the subsequent selection of Mode-3 and Mode-4 CT models. It is advisable to build the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles using group charging modules equipped with Fora EZS-DC-2 D150 (Mode-4) and Kulon 2.GM (Mode-3) stations.
