In this article, the author examines the foreign experience of state regulation and support of small and medium-sized businesses on the example of actively developing economies of the world, such as the USA, Japan, China. The possibility of applying the best foreign practices to Russian realities is evaluated. Recommendations in the field of support of small and medium-sized businesses are proposed.
