The article presents classification criteria of the bank deposits’ security systems as a way of their identification. The main operational characteristics and principles of the Russian bank deposits’ security system are specified. The author raises a question of effective evaluation of the economic practicability of such systems on the example of the Russian bank system of deposits’ protection.
