Protection of wooden structures from fire: impregnation and flame retardants

In view of the fact that wood has a high fire hazard compared to other building materials, it is necessary to foresee ways to protect wooden structures from fire in order to save lives, health and property, as well as to minimize the consequences of a fire. The main methods of protecting wooden structures for various purposes and methods of applying solutions are considered. The pros and cons of applying different flame retardants to protect wood are presented. There are three groups of fire protection. In conclusion, a conclusion was made about the feasibility of using fire protection.
