Consumer protection in the digital world: problems with subscriptions and unbinding the card

The article addresses the issues of consumer rights violations, in terms of connecting unwanted subscriptions, as well as the difficult process of "unlinking" a payment card after the expiration of the "trial period" of the subscription. The relevance of the study is justified by a real problem associated with the need to clarify the responsibilities of service providers in terms of providing consumers with full information about the terms of their provision and ways to refuse them. The author of the work offers a number of recommendations aimed at protecting the rights of users of digital services, which can affect the formation of new judicial practice. In addition, the author formulates changes to the current legislation.
