Protection of information about private life of the applicant at the stage of verification of a crime report

The procedure for accepting a crime report from a citizen not only excludes the citizen’s anonymity, but also prescribes a set of registration actions, during which reliable information about the applicant identity and the crime reported is fixed. This contributes to threats to the life and health of such citizens, limits the effective implementation of the applied security measures. The research made it possible to formulate proposals to eliminate gaps in the criminal procedure legislation in this area at the stage of verifying a crime report.
