The problem of psychological readiness of senior schoolchildren for professional self-determination is investigated. A theoretical analysis of the concept of “psychological readiness for choosing a profession” is presented. The results of an empirical study are presented, which revealed the features of psychological readiness and the attitude of senior schoolchildren to professional self-determination depending on the socio-psychological personality type. It is concluded that when forming psychological readiness for professional self-determination, it is necessary to take into account the features of socio-psychological personality types of senior schoolchildren.
