Dependence of the capacity of the ants Formica s. str. to the complex formation from the type of landscape at the example of the Middle Volga

The article deals with the mapping analysis of the spread of the wood ants (Formica s. str.) in the different landscapes at the territory of the Middle Volga. There is suggested during the field collecting that there are appeared “the zones of concentration” of ant hills on the boundaries of the landscaping zones. The results of the filed study are the basis of the digital mapping that helps to analyze the possible correlation between the type of landscape and the frequency of the complexes.
