The resonant theory of singing is the most relevant and in demand system of representations of the relationship between the patterns of formation and perception of the singing voice (acoustic, physiological and psychological), allowing to achieve high aesthetic and vocal and technical qualities of the singing sound by revealing the resonant properties of the vocal apparatus. Vocal resonance (filling of cavities with air) determines strength, filtration, enrichment, expansion, improvement, intensification and prolongation of the singing sound through phonation, enhanced by the vocalist's timbre.
