Genre of proverb performed by Anna and Constantine Smorodiny and religious prose development in Russia at the beginning of the XXIth century

The article gives a detailed analysis of selected stories of Anna and Constantine Smorodiny from a perspective of the evolution of contemporary Russian prose in the genre of proverb. This phenomenon is described in the context of religious literature development in Russia at the beginning of the XXI century.
