Genre peculiarities of reference letter: the role of the factor of addressant

The article deals with the genre peculiarities of the modern reference letter. The model of the speech genre is presented as the system of parameters with a hierarchical organization. There is substantiated the genre genesis role of the parameter “adresant”, its specific character (its unofficiality or officiality, singularity and collectivity) determines the genre varieties of the document, the compositional and contextual and speech organization of the text.
