The paper discusses the problem of establishing life values in high school students of the privileged school - the Republican Residential Lyceum (n = 100). Generally, the topic of life values of youth and society has been paid a lot of attention. The relevance of the chosen topic is in the role of an educational institution in determining the prospects and direction of benchmarks of the younger generation. The objects of the study are high school students of the Republican Residential Lyceum. The subject of the study is the life values of high school students in this institution. The purpose of educational sociological research is the identification and analysis of their life values. The authors have conducted an intelligence research, in which they used the following methods: a method of collecting data by questioning high school students of the Republican Residential Lyceum, a method of processing the received data using the SPSS program and graphic design. The authors have identified and justified the main areas of life values of high school students of the Republican Residential Lyceum. The results of the survey showed that respondents primarily put moral values in life. As a result, the authors conducted a comparative analysis of students in two schools, and formulated factors that affect the establishment of respondents’ life values. The results of the study can be useful for institutions and organizations that work with students.
