The issues of linguistic and philosophical theory of meaning and meaningfulness are considered. Meaning is also meaningfulness, having individually felt and lived through at the moment of formation of a thought «here and now». In addressee’s view, meaning is a personally felt meaningfulness, a certain part of which is denoted in outer -language form according to language competence of subject and pragmatic specificity of situation. In addresser’s view, meaning is a receptive meaningfulness formed on the basis of one’s own conceptual parameters and communicative competence, on the one hand, and prognosticating of probable format of conceptual and semantic system and knowledge of regulations of language game of the addressee, on the other hand.
