Correlations between N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide level in blood serum of chronic rheumatic heart disease patients and the clinicofunctional findings are studied. It is revealed that level of this peptide correlated with the functional class NYHA, ejection fraction and volume characteristics of the left ventricle. The received results allow surveying N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptid as a marker for definition of gravity of a state, evaluation of diastolic and systolic left ventricle dysfunction.
