Considering the issue of formation of communicative competence of students in the process of foreign language teaching

The article deals with the formation of the communicative competence of students at the example of teaching them of greeting forms in the German language. There is stated that greetings are not only the markers of the human relations in the society, they are the display of the cultural values. The knowledge of such peculiarities allows students to feel more confident and competent in communication.
