The importance of strength training in sports games

In sports games, physical activity is complex, but in any case, certain muscle groups are involved to a greater extent. That is why, for each sports game, a set of strength exercises can be individually determined, which can be useful for the purposeful development of muscle groups that are of the greatest importance in competitive sports activities. Strength exercises functionally provide not only body movements, but also energy production, act as a means of stimulating the adaptive mechanisms of the body. It is argued that regardless of the type of sports game, in addition to strength training, it is extremely important to combine technical skill, appropriate psychological attitude, ability to concentrate and relax, possession of theoretical knowledge, a certain development of endurance, speed, coordination of movements and flexibility, which cannot be considered separately from strength exercises due to the fact that only an integrated approach gives optimal results.
