The article defines the role and importance of judicial practice in the system of civil legal relations. The defining significance of judicial practice lies in the fact that such practice as a source of civil law brings certainty to the system of civil legal relations and their content. Judicial practice specifies the requirements of the legislator. In the process of analyzing the problem of determining the place and significance of judicial practice in civil law, it can be concluded that judicial practice, formed on the basis of studying the factual circumstances in each specific case, helps the legislator to determine the most rational way to further improve civil legislation and legal regulation of relations in the field of such relations.
