The importance of forensic examinations with the participation of a psychologist in making judicial decisions on civil law disputes

The article analyzes the importance of forensic examinations with the participation of a psychologist in judicial decision-making. Also, based on a content analysis of high-profile cases of judicial practice that received media coverage, in which the conclusions of an expert psychologist showed a correlation with certain legal consequences, general conclusions are formed about the demand for expertise for assessing phenomena related to the mental activity of participants in civil proceedings. Promising directions for further research and development of the institute of forensic examination in the field of civil legal relations are proposed.
