Зыбкая память: отношение к Великой войне в Лиге Наций

В статье рассмотрено конструирование в Лиге Наций, в 1920-е - 1930-е гг., исторической памяти о Первой мировой войне. Источниковой базой исследования послужили документы из недавно оцифрованного архива Лиги Наций в Женеве. Провозглашенные цели Лиги Наций - предотвращение новой мировой войны, разоружение и сохранение суверенитета европейских стран в новом мировом порядке - определили главную особенностью формирования памяти о минувшей мировой войне: ее основой стала идеология политического пацифизма. Эта идеология, сводившаяся к неполному отрицанию использования оружия и вооруженных сил для обороны и безопасности государств, широко распространялась в Лиге Наций представителями государств, участвовавшими в войне. На основе политического пацифизма в Лиге Наций шел процесс формирования коллективной транснациональной памяти о минувшей войне, и эта память нашла отражение в договорах, зарегистрированных в Лиге Наций. Однако период ее активной международной деятельности был слишком кратковременным для конструирования устойчивой памяти и мемориальной культуры Великой войны. С другой стороны, в Секретариате Лиги Наций не хотели способствовать распространению и укреплению памяти о мировой войне и стремились заменить память о ней репрезентациями Лиги Наций как организации, полностью отвергающей войну и создающей новый миролюбивый миропорядок.
