The success of including children with developmental disabilities depends not only on the nature and degree of their disability, but also on the effectiveness of individual educational programs and educational technologies that take into account these circumstances, the attitude of people around them and the educational environment for children with disabilities. It is very important to organize the process of socio-psychological adaptation of the “special” child in educational institutions, since psychosocial adaptation is a means of protecting the individual, with which a person can weaken or eliminate his internal psychological stress, anxiety, instability during interaction with other people, so with society as a whole. One of the most important in terms of the effectiveness of socialization is the adaptation of children with disabilities together with participants in volunteer organizations.
