Adaptation of sports training methodology for swimmers-stayers for athletes with disabilities

The article discusses the features of the psychophysical development of swimmers with disabilities and the influence of these features on the formation of the methodological basis of sports training for people with disabilities. The possibilities of teaching swimming for persons with the following impairments are considered: hearing, vision, musculoskeletal system, intellectual development. The features of the approaches of the coaching staff in the preparation of disabled athletes have been determined.
