Axiological Analysis of the Educational Environment of Higher Education Institutions during Periods of Socio-Cultural Crises and Military Conflicts

Educational institutions play a key role in the preservation and transmission of fundamental universal values. In times of crisis, the axiological systems of universities can also change, which has long-term consequences for society. Thus, it is recognized at the highest level of management that the transition to a universal bachelor’s degree in our country was a big mistake, and precisely because of the consequences of such a transformation. Obviously, building a new education system that meets Russia’s long-term national interests will take a lot of time and will not be easy. Detailed studies of the axiological transformation of educational systems that took place at various stages of the country’s development can help in solving this complex problem. This article reveals the mutual influence of the axiological systems of universities and society as a whole in retrospect and at the present stage; historical modern examples show the possible negative consequences of wrong decisions in the field of higher education, leading to long-term negative consequences.; The necessity of an in-depth study of the causes and consequences of such transformations, which can lead to a weakening of the fundamental values of Russian society and the imposition of destructive values and behaviors, is substantiated.
