The article deals with the task to demonstrate the role of the axiological aspect of the professional training of future teachers and its influence on the professional and personal development. There are analyzed the different approaches to the definition of the concepts “values” and “value-based orientations”. There is substantiated the significance of the emotional and axiological component in the development of the pedagogical world picture of the future teachers.
