Actualization of students’ creative potential in the process of forming linguistic and cultural competence in teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Republic of Uzbekistan

The article offers a proven method of using the creative potential of students in the formation of linguistic and cultural competence in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The methodology was created on the basis of theoretical scientific works of the existential-humanistic direction. The implementation of this methodology was conducted at Dzhizag University during the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic years. The contribution to the study of the actualization of students’ creative potential in the process of forming linguistic and cultural competence in teaching Russian as a foreign language by Professor G.I. Kolesnikova is that based on her work on the concept of “creativity”, the structure of the creative process, the specifics of the qualities of a creative personality A method was developed jointly with V.A. Kalinin for the development of a personality capable of resisting manipulative influence. V.A. Kalinin’s contribution to the research consisted in the development of a methodology and its subsequent implementation in the pedagogical process.
