Current trends in the linear objects nomination of the Volgograd city

The article analyzes the current trends in the linear objects nomination in the Volgograd city. The most attention is paid to the new development territory and the most popular linguistic codes. The numerative and anthropogenic codes are of the greatest relevance for the territories of new development, the names that characterize the object are common. The demand for personal memoratives remains, however, the trend of the historical person name assigning to a linear object is being transformed.
