The main tasks, the concept and principles of the formation of personnel in the internal affairs bodies are studied. The analysis of the system for assessing the personnel potential of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic is carried out, problems are identified and the main directions for their improvement are proposed.
