Analysis of investment activity in Russia

The article analyzes the investment activity of Russia for 2017-2019. The structure of foreign investment in the context of the main investor countries, the dynamics of foreign investment, the share of foreign direct investment in the gross domestic product are considered. It is revealed that the state policy on creating an attractive investment climate contributes to the inflow of FDI. It is concluded that due to FDI, the rate of economic development increases, the competitiveness of manufactured products and goods increases, new technologies are applied, jobs are created, and budgets of different levels are replenished. At the same time, the instability caused by foreign and domestic policies requires new conditions for attracting FDI.
