Analysis of the effectiveness of reinforcing elements in the problem of optimizing a ribbed shell made of composite material

The problem of the effectiveness of reinforcing elements in the optimization problem of a ribbed cylindrical shell under the action of axial compressive loads is investigated. When constructing physical stability constraints, both general and local forms of buckling are taken into account. The mass of the ribbed shell is used as an objective function. An optimization algorithm is proposed that allows taking into account not only the multiplicity, but also the existence of the solution to the problem.
