Analysis of corruption crime in Russia: the concept, dynamics and personality traits of a corrupt person

The authors consider the issues of corruption crime and the identity of a corrupt criminal on the basis of statistical data, scientific research and judicial practice. The article identifies the signs of corruption-oriented crimes, identifies the personality characteristics of a modern criminal-corrupt official. The features of psychophysiological, sociodemographic, socio-psychological and criminal-legal characteristics of the corrupt person, in particular, are studied. The authors analyzed the state and dynamics of this type of crime on the territory of the Russian Federation on the basis of statistical data . The thesis about the connection of corruption crime with organized crime in modern Russia is also substantiated. The article defends the point of view according to which an integrated and systematic approach is needed to effectively combat corruption.
