Analysis of the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Perm region

The article presents the role of small and medium-sized businesses in the socio-economic development of the region. The authors analyzed the current trends in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region, characterized by a fairly high level of development, which is reflected in a significant number of SMEs in various sectors of the economy. The authors highlighted a noticeable trend in the decrease in the level of entrepreneurial activity of micro and small enterprises and an increase in the level of development of medium-sized enterprises in the Perm Region. The article presents a comparative analysis of the development of SMEs in the regions of the Volga Federal District.
