Purpose: The purpose of the study was the analysis of antireflux surgery results in patients with hiatal hernia. Materials and methods: For 18 years 922 operations were performed in patients with hiatal hernia. We used the following options of laparoscopic fundoplication: Nissen-Rosetti fundoplication - 769, Nissen fundoplica-tion - 143, Toupet fundoplication - 6, Dor fundoplication - 4. In 55 patients we diagnosed recur-rent gastroesophageal reflux. Among 33 patients we performed reconstructive surgery. Results: The most frequent reason of relapse in gastroesophageal reflux causes was the destruction of fun-doplication cuff - 18 (54%) cases, destruction and migration of the cuff - 5 (15%), migration of the cuff - 5 (15%), the phenomenon of "telescope" - 4 (13%), rotation of the cuff -1(3%). Conclusions: This analysis allowed us to evaluate the performance of reconstructive surgery for patients with recurrent gastroesophageal reflux. Good results of reconstruction were observed in 8 (25%) pa-tients, satisfactory were seen in 10 (30%), and the results were insufficient in 15 (45%) cases.
