Analysis of the results of the local government system reform on the example of the Ryazan region's municipalities

The article discusses the interim results of the ongoing reform of local self-government. It analyzes the possible consequences of the introduced changes in terms of the formation of local authorities, their powers, and forms of interaction with the population. Using the example of the Ryazan Region, the article analyzes the adopted charters of municipal districts and the urban district of Ryazan. It summarizes the changes made to the forms of territorial management and the issues of the formation of local self-government bodies. Using the example of municipal districts and the urban district of Ryazan, the article presents the current results of the transformations.
