Analysis of the current state of the vehicle market and the problems of their classification in accordance with the customs code of the EAEU

The article discusses the main problems of vehicle classification in accordance with the TN VED. The correct classification of vehicles is based on their characteristics and relevant criteria. This makes it possible to correctly determine customs duties and other fees that go to the federal budget, while ensuring that the economic interest of the state is respected. Vehicles are complex aggregates that cannot be classified by only one criterion. Currently, classification is carried out according to various parameters, which requires certain professional skills. The article considers ways to solve the problems of vehicle classification in accordance with the TN VED.
